I like the new truck. Change is good sometimes. I remember how long it took me to get used to the T-Bird in 1983, and how long it took me to get used to the F-150 SEVERAL times over the years. I eventually did it, though. I'm not really sure about the coil-sprung front end deal, but overall, I like it....so far.........

Point well made birdman.
I believe the 04 and maybe even the 03 had upgraded rotors.
I don?ft know enough about suspensions to dispute spring versus coil over. However, my truck seems to steer just fine.
I wouldn?ft own the V-10, ford or any other OE for that matter
Stiffer frame...I suppose that would be a nice option if I ever used my truck to its potential.
I got to pick out the type of brake controller installed in my 04.
If I?fm going to spend 43k on a truck, believe me, it wont have a manual tranny.
I can remember getting nervous when GM updated the Silverado. Here I had just spent 29k on a truck and it?fs going to look dated. Little did I know that GM was gonna bugger up a good thing. Keep in mind, I got out of a 95 F-150 into the Silverado because I thought Ford buggerd up a good thing. In fact, I still think the F-150 is buggerd up, just not as bad as it was. I guess my point is this, there isn?ft enough change to feel like I have wasted money on a 04. What a wonderful looking machine!!!! and I'm all about looks baby :-)

Adjustable peddles and a tranny are two different thinks. If they dont affer it right away it would be stupid. I see no reason not too. I doubt it is a all new manual tranny and the power increases shouldnt be beyond the current 6 speed. How was the new F-150 a downgrade? You just crazy, you crazy man you!
