Exclamation brake pressure

It seems to me that the pressure in my brakes could be better, when i'm stopping it seems like if i pump it once or twice it is way better then if i just apply my brakes. Just wondering if anyone eles feels like that or if its something i should have them look at.

How many miles have you put on? I've got 7,000 and I've noticed the same thing lately.

Find a sandy parking lot (or any other semi-slippery surface) and slam your brakes on, allowing the ABS to cycle for a couple of seconds (at least). You'll be surprised how good your pedal feels after.

Thanks for the tip momalle1.... I'm gonna try this tonight in the wifes Sport-Trac. The brakes have felt kinda soft from the beginning.

I'll let you all know tomorrow how this worked for me.

i'll also try, i've got 1500 miles. If i was hauling a load they don't seem like they would do very good. I think i will have them checked out, if this doesn't work. Thanks
