Just purchased 2004 Superduty XLT Crew, having complaints about confort of rear seats. Does anyone know if there is an optional seat that is more confortable

 

Has anyone tried to "remove" the flip out metal tray under the seats? I would love to reclaim that space to stuff junk in. I don't expect to ever need the "flat load floor" that this provides.

Also would like to move the entire seat assembly forward a few inches to make more room behind the seat between the seat back and cab wall. There is so much leg room in the back of a crew cab that a few inches could easily be given up for this.

 

I would like it if I could slide the front seat all the way forward and like slide the back of the rear seat down to make a bed. Like in the old love vans. Fouton style!
