01 Ranger: Installing Audiovox Sirius Receiver

Hey guys.
Just bought a new Audiovox Sirius receiver for my 2001 Ranger.
I was wondering if anyone has installed one and might have pictures as to where the put it and how they mounted it. There don't seem to be a whole lot of options in the truck but the way I'm leaning is to take that removable ash tray that fits in the cup holder, and put the mounting unit there.
this is what the unit and mounting unit look like:
http://www.audiovox.com/webapp/wcs/s...2390&langId=-1

Although they show the mount screwed into the back it can also be done at the bottom (hey - keep yer minds out of the gutter!).

So, I was thinking about mounting it into the bottom (damn...) and using the included adhesive to attach the mount inside the cup-holder ash tray.
Anyone done this?
Anyone have pictures of any kind of satellite radio installation into a Ranger?

Sirius receiver installed

Well, I did it.
I simply adhered the car mount to the top of the Ranger's removable ash tray.
Pics here:
This is where I tapped into the 12v line. The cigarette lighters (both of them)are always on, even when ignition is off. I poked around and found this green wire that is only on with igntion behind the steering column and tapped of it with a scrap transformer wire I had. The transformer's tip matched the Audiovox receiver so I was good to go.

Here's a shot of how I mounted the mount to the ash tray. Notice the ash tray is still usable as a small storage area.

The finished product. I can see the screen perfectly and the passenger can rotate it around to their direction as well.

Hope this helps someone else...

looks good i'll have to remember that trick if i ever get one of those rangers coming in to get a sirius. watch the antenna though you don't want to kink it too much or you'll lose reception alot times we loom it going from under the dash so it doesn't get tangled up in anything
