AC vent leak INSIDE truck?

My 2003 F150, just started something KIND of wierd today.

When I run the AC, the PASSENGER floor board gets wet, including the DUCT pipe. So is the pipe leaking, just SWEATING THAT MUCH, or what?

I mean it got so wet, on both the floor board and mats, that I am afraid the floor is gonna sour and stink if it doesn't stop.

I had to take the mats out and air them out.

check the drain tube for the a/c , it might be plugged, its located on the right side, try using low pressure air to blow it out. if that dosent work take it to the dealer and have them clean the airbox out. and use a wet vac on the carpet before mold sets in,

the drain tube is located in the engine compartment , by the firewall, rightside, under the a/c box, ever notice standing water under the truck by the right front tire? thats water draining from the a/c box make sure its water and not antifreeze!! if its antifreeze then the heater core or hoses going to it are leaking

There is a service message on this problem. Take it to the dealer and let them repair it. The drain tube is too short and there is water draining back through the firewall seal at the tube. If the carpeting is completely soaked and mildewing you should request a new carpet as well.

Thanks for all the great advice. The truck SEEMS not to be making a sufficient water puddle underneath on the ground. While I think it is the plug, Homer I am also taking it to the dealer. I am NOT having wet carpet soured or mildewed.

Thanks again.
