In Search Of 351W Crankshaft Pulley

I'm looking for a stock crankshaft pulley to fit a '79 351W out of an LTD. 4-bolt mount style. With all the folks into modifying I thought someone may have one lying around. I'm not having any luck trying to find an aftermarket pulley....new!!!

I got one sitting in my garage on a stand as we speak. I may have some pulleys laying around though. I can look and see.

i might be able to find a few serpentine ones. go get the alt and p/s pump off a 89 era ford full size, crown vic marquis etc, a 5.0 setup will work, it is really slick. i saw a few out at u pull r parts a few months ago. be sure to get the pump that has the bolt in fitting not the banjo, or get the hoses. most yards look at you funny if you need something b/c they trash most of the little stuff we need. i did this to my 79 f150 on a 69 windsor and a 84windsor.

Not going Serpentine

I've already got this motor mounted and running in my CJ7. I slightly damaged the stock pulley off road and would prefer to replace it if I can find another one. Recently installed a front motor plate and needed to space the pulley out 1/4". Thanks for the post.

Where are you twix? I am in the Milaca area. I may have a few of those pulleys if you wanted to take a look and see if any might work. I still would have to find them since I believe I have them scattered about. Thats sweet that you have that in a CJ7. Sounds like a fun toy.

it was a idea anyways, i was thinking for a ford truck this was nice but since you have a custom app, i suppose that was just more headaches than you r looking to get into. i think u pull still might have what u r looking for if its a closer drive, a 302 v belt pulley will work also, and a cleveland one i think. i just hated the skipping squealing v belts ...lol... if i do come accross a extra one out there and you are closer to st paul, i will let you know. i will have to dig a bit b/c i got rid of a bunch of stuff but i still have some stuff laying around.
i remember a guy back in high school that had a v8 chev in a old mail jeep, had dual rears and some tractor tires, was kinda a crazy but fun looking toy.

Thumbs up Pulley

I'm in Big Lake, I get up your way now and again. On a recent trip I did some more damage to my stock drivetrain and bent the motor plate, so I have some more work to do on it before it see's the trail again. I'll save these posts and hook up when I get some more work done. My current drivetrain is 351W/ Ford T-18/ Dana 300/ 3.73 gears & rear Detriot locker, rig is lifted 6 inches and rides on 33X12.5 Super Swampers. I don't care how many fella's recommended going bowtie...............I'm glad I stuck it out and put a Ford in there.

It takes me 20-25 minutes to get to Big Lake down Eagle Lake Road. It shoots me right up to mille lacs county road 12 which hits another road that runs right to my place.
