UWS black diamond plate tool box... good price?

Hey guys I just went and picked up a UWS low profile black diamond plate tool box ( type that sets across the bed of the truck ). I paid $305 for it brand new in the box. Was this a good price for this box? I had found it online for around $325-$350, or I would find it really cheap online but the shipping cost was $80 ( I guess it was high due to the bulkiness of the tool box).

Also got one of the F150 bed-mats and paid $61.64 for it. It has the F150 logo in the center of it. Was this a good price for the bed-mat and tool box? Thanks for any input.

I only see 2 of those tool boxes on eBay and they are both used but look good. $200 and $145, but they are both listed for Toyo's although one says it will fit F-150. Bed mats with logo from $100 to $120 on eBay, so looks like you got a good deal there. Way to go man!

I got a UWS box for about 250, but becuase it was a business purchase and along with several other things. Cant go wrong with them. The guy i bought mine from could have sold me several other boxes that were about 350, but it was what he had in his truck and recommanded that i buy it.

I got mine for $279 just over the N.C. Border. They run high $400s to low $500 in Southeast Va. Sounds pretty reasonable to me. Enjoy it.

Thanks guys, I felt like I had gotten a pretty good deal, but always like to get others opinions pretty quick so if I got ripped off I still have time to take the stuff back.

I installed the toolbox this afternoon, boy that black powder coat finish is slick looking. I've got a Westin bull bar on order that's supposed to arrive this week sometime. Once I get it installed I'll post a few pictures. After that the only thing left I want is the front end leveling kit (maybe wheels and tires but they will be the last thing).

triton-ic,

I got the bedmat from my dealers parts department. And it wasn't part of my "truck deal" to get it that cheap. Maybe I got lucky, but I met the parts deparment mgr at my Community Relay for Life and struck up a conversation so that might explain why I got it for a pretty low price.

Thanks. I'll have to check my dealership. Normally I am afraid to ask, but it sounds really reasonable.

I think retail for the mat was around $90 at the parts department Triton-ic. Reason I say this is I called one day and a guy at the dealership quoted me $93 for the mat.
