HI there, Im thinking seriously about purchasing a 2002 or 2003 F-150 Harley Davidson edition truck.
From what I read on the internet, I understand that the supercharged 5.4L in the Harley edition F150, makes 340 horsepwer.
Where as the Ford Lightning makes 380 Horsepower with the same engine and supercharger.
I read that you can swap out the pulley from the Lightnings supercharger to the Harley davidsons supercharger and that will increase the power from 340 to 380.
My question is, is this true? If so, will the pulley directly swap over without modification? Also, can the engine handle the extra boost (ie.. are the gaskets tough enough like the ones in the lightning engine).
I thank you in advance for your help. Oh, also please let me know if this pulley swap will cause any ill effects to the truck. Thanks again!!
