Has anyone received the offer from Ford on a $50.00 Gift Card from Cabelas for taking a test drive in an F-150? I've been preparing my facts and figures before I buy ( Thanks to everyone here) but I'm not quite ready to get hammered on by visiting the dealer and asking them to sign the card. It would make it so much easier if I had a dealer like 1956MarkII near me to buy from. Maybe a flight from California to NY wouldnt be too bad

 

Just do it. Show them the card and be clear you are NOT ready to buy. Heck, the dealer I went to let me drive a F350 PSD when I told him a F150 wouldn't work for me.

 

I took advantage of the offer. I just test drove an F150 SuperCrew and then showed the salesperson the offer. He initialed it and I was on my way. That was several months ago. I've already used my certificate from Cabella's via the catalog.

But Ford came out ahead on the deal--I bought a '04 Lariat SuperCrew this past Saturday!

Congrats on the new purchase! I've just posted to Jeff about a quote for a new SCrew so we'll see.

 

I beleive that the Cabela's offer has expired. I could be wrong but I think one of my buddies went to test drive and told me that the offer is no good now. Luckily, i already got my gift card in!

 

The expiration date on my certificate is May 25th so I'm planing on visiting my local dealer tomorrow

 

Yeah, I just had a guy in here driving a Silverado, telling me how he's been a Chevy man for years, not about to buy a Ford, , but he's got this coupon for a test-drive and what the hell. Takes it out for a spin: now he wants to know how much his 2001 Silverado is worth. So, the coupons are still out there.

 

WE got our Cabela's card a while back, and already used it !!!!!!!!!!

Took the drive, got the card, spent the card. Easy as passing a Chevy !!!!!!!!!

 

I got my coupon, went to a local Ford dealer and explained that I have a two year old Excursion and that I wouldn't be in the market for years to come. He offered to let me take a truck out for a test drive, or just sign the coupon. I was short of time so I just had him sign it, but may go back and test drive the new F150 another day.
Received my gift certificate in just a few weeks and already used it. Ford and Cabelas are both great companys to deal with!

Well now I have a big problem. My Ford/Cabela offer said it must be postmarked by 5-24-04. I went to the dealer and had the card signed and mailed it 05-20. It was just returned to me today stamped " Box closed no forwarding order on file" . Apparently Ford closed their P.O. Box before the offer was over, now what to do? My Postmark is 05-20-04.

 

Well, I just got one in the mail a couple of days ago. It says the offer is good from 5/20 to 7/19. Taking it to my dealer tomorrow (although I bought my truck almost two weeks ago).
