New to the board and to the truck, How hard is it to install a lift kit. Im pretty novice when it comes to this stuff?

 

What type / brand lift are you refering to?

first thing is you need a spring compressor.

 

im pretty handy but if i need alot of specialty tools maybe i should get done by a mechanic

 

you can go borrow/rent those tools from your local pepboys or napa

 

Ive never done one yet but i have read a lot about the installation. The hardest part is compressing the springs, If youre handy you could rent a spring compressor and do it your self, Just do yourself a favor and use a good one.
