Unhappy F250 mud flaps

I have the new F250 6.0 crew cab. I ordered the Ford mud flaps, but I am disapointed at the look. Are you supposed to able to see between the flap and the rear wheel well? I have also looked at a set from a local auto store and they would look the same way if I were to use them. Help, if there is a better looking mud flap on the market.

I just spent half a day looking at mud flaps online and ended up getting the cheapo $20 set at JC Whitney just to get me by for now. I found some cool custom ones but they were over $100 per pair.
performanceproducts.com had a set of alum. diamond plate and rubber ones for about $40.
Good Luck, Dave

I have some Yosemite Sam (Back Off) mud flaps and I was wondering how to mount them. I had them for my 150 and never mounted them.
Any Ideas?

Lightbulb mud flaps

After brain storming I think I have came up with a way to make these look better. I wont be able to put them on until this weekend. If my idea works I'll post it and let you know what I did. Wish me luck!

I have the Ford factory mud flaps on my truck, I think there is two different kinds from Ford. The mud flaps I have on my truck have Ford on there in white letters. I think they look pretty good.

I have the same kind as you.The ones with the white ford printed on them. They will fit well. It's the fender well I'm not so pleased with.

All I have are those flimsy liners that curve toward the back. When I get the flaps on you'll be able to see between the flap and the liner about 5 inches to the ground if you are standing beside the truck. Also while waiting for a red light, a truck like mind turned in and I could see through his. Ugly!

I agree with the husky flaps...they fit very well, are a snap to install, and look decent to boot.

$20 a set is an awesome price...I think I paid about $55 (delivered) for both the front & back.

Thumbs up

I put the flaps on Sat. My original idea of slipping the well liner down to meet the flap would not work. So I got real inventive and made an extra piece that conects with the same screws that sticks up about 7 inches and about 10 inches wide out of black hard molded plastic. It looks great. No one would ever know I added this piece without my telling them.
