I don't think the car is all that bad looking. If the price was reasonable & If I was in the market I would probally buy it. Unfortunatly I don't think the price will be resonable for that car by looking at the pictures.

I think it looks simular to the old Pantera's. When you're going 250mph, who's going to get a good look at you anyway? Hmmm...I could leave Oregon now and have dinner in Mexico tonight, even with stopping for fuel every 15 minutes. That's faster than the State Police Cessnas can fly.

All,

So, I'm showing my 18 year-old the website and he says "The Tomahawk is faster." Huh? Faster than 0-60 in three seconds?!? We go look and, sure enough, they say a Dodge Tomahawk will do 0-60 in TWO POINT FIVE! Of course, I'd rather be sitting in a comfy Bugatti doing 250mph instead of *sitting* ON an Chrysler engine doing 300mph!

They Veyron is nice and all but it's having serious teething problems. Bugatti just delayed it ANOTHER 15 months before customers can look at taking delivery. I think they might be aiming a little too high. 250mph? No problem. 1000hp Quad-turbocharged W-16 engine? With a little engineering, sure. AWD? Been done since the early 80's! 7-speed F1-style paddle shift transmission? The Six-speed has been here for some time so one more gear shouldn't be a problem. Roll it all into one car and keep it somewhat reliable, and add options such as having an actual diamond mounted in the gear lever? Uhh.....Houston we have a problem.

Keep in mind that the world's fastest production car, the Koeningsegg CC8S, can reach 245mph using a superchaged V8 with 655hp, and keep it under half the price of the Veyron at $500,000. Oh and just so we're clear Koenigsegg announced a new car this year at Geneva that has 806bhp and 678ft-lb of torque. And, according to the company it can do the standing quarter mile in nine seconds!

Look at this. It goes faster than all of the cars you have listed.

Wow, 1.33 gallons a minute!!! Hear that giant sucking sound...don't worry its just the car!

1 hr of driving at full throttle on pump gas that costs $2 a gallon would equal out to ~$160 an hour!

I guess if your cranking out 1 million for a car, a couple hundred is loose change.
