Post for Brain at Protech

Brian - I talked to you on the phone a couple weeks ago about your leveling kit for the new Ford. I have decided to go with your product over the Daystar kit. When I spoke with you, you were out of stock I believe. Are you still out?

I am interested in either the 2.5" or 3" kit. What is the major difference between these two?

Let me know ordering info too. Thanks!

I am not Brian but I talked to him on the phone yesterday and he told me to order mine from here:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33585

He didnt say anything about it being back ordered and I am gonna be very very very upset if it is.

Also he said that you get both the 2 1/2 and 3 inch in this kit. It comes with a main size of 2 1/2" and then there is 2 more 1/4" plates that can make it either 2.5, 2.75, or 3" depending on what you want.

Brian please say this isnt on back order.

What size does it take, the 2.5 or the 3 inch, to level the F-150's front with the back? Anyone know?

Hope I did not start a riot - but I can tell you when I talked to Brian, he seems to be a stand up guy with a quality product. I think he would have been up front with you if it was backordered, trust me.

Now if the kit comes with the 2.5 or 3", which is better for the truck..... better ride quality / noise / look?

He told me on the phone yesterday that he liked the 2.75.

He said that 3" stretches the shock pretty good and dont allow for much travel.

Talking

I got the Protech 2.5" kit last week and getting it installed this Monday. The kit is awesome. Solid billet aluminum..very heavy. I don't see it wearing or cracking the way poly does over time like bushings do. IMHO, the Daystar will experience minor issues over time by comparison. Installation looks straightforward. I believe he actually has them manufactured locally. Even though he didn't have one at the time I called, it took just a few days to get the kit made and mailed to me 2 day delivery. I think it will met or exceed my expectations. Can't wait until Monday, I think it will change the whole look of the truck. He has been extremely patient and helpful in explaining his product. He is very pleasant to talk with.
