Putting the truck together now!

Well here's my first question - the 2 spindles for the front axle are identical. From pics I took before disassembly, it looks like the zerk fittings go towards the front of the axle. Do the keyways on the spindle part (for the bearing retaining washer) point up or down on the spindle?

Kool, I got it! Thanks! A problem I have run into now is that the leaf springs I have up front are the ones off my '58 350 parts truck. The eyes are different, so the bushings I have for the rear of the spring won't fit right. I don't have time to mess with it, so it's just going to go together however I can get it. I'll correct the prob in the fall when we come back out here.

It's always something.

Wouldn't the F-350 have stiffer springs?

Possibly, but I removed 4 and only have 4 in the pack now. They are temporary, until I can afford a new set of dropped springs.
