the link tofer76 gave you will get you to the right guy. i have sent him my gauges for a custom gauge set. you can either buy the set and do it yourself, or send your gauges to him and he will do it for you.

judge1971 does'nt want the vinyl cut outs that guy sells. I have dirrected him to that guy in the past before.
Unfortunaly they only sell the vinyl cutouts unless you buy the glow gauges for big buck. It is very easy to do also. Just removed the black vinyl & reapply the white vinyl. you can even lay the white over the top.

i was assured by this guy that his overlays are plastic, and not vinyl. if you look at the description in his ebay auction, he states how his are better than vinyl. i should be getting some back from him in the next 2 weeks. i'll let you know what they are.

They looked OK but I didn't put them on. After thinking about it for awhile I desided I wanted something different. Everyone is getting those white face gauges & I didn't want to run with the pack.

i believe this guy has other colors also. are you sure they were vinyl? i
re-read his ebay postings and he specifically states they are not vinyl. well, i'll be getting my gauges back from him (along with some other goodies) in the next week or two. i hope i'm not dissappointed.

You know they could be plastic. I bought the layovers from him & didn't have him put them in. I was going to do this by myself. They sure seemed like vinyl to me, had the same charaistics(??sp).

I don't have them here anymore, a buddy of mine has them now so I can really look at them. I'm almost sure they were vinyl.

when i was taking out my cluster, i thought "what the heck", and pulled off the heating and AC overlay, as well as any other "white face" canidates off my dash. i wont be able to touch and feel the cluster overlays, but i will be installing all the others. i will keep you all posted. i know what you mean by "running with the pack". i look at it this way: sure, alot of people are going to white face, but i think white face in an older truck, like ours, stands out. people might expect newer cars/trucks to have them, but when they see them in an old truck, they might raise an eyebrow. and besides, fixin' up my 1991 is making me feel like a kid again
