gOOD PRICE FOR LARIET SCREW?

Just came home with a new F-150 supercrew. I wasn't really ready to buy yet, but the salesman told me to take it home over nite and see what I thought. I think he offered me a GREAT deal, but not sure. The truck is :
'04 Supercrew Lariet. No additional options. White whith tan leather . Sticker is 33,215 quoted price is 26,477. Is this the average deal these days? I have to take it back in the morning with a decission. What do you all think?

Thanks in advance.

Invoice is $29500, rebate's $1000, so you SHOULD be buying it for $27800. I'd say you're absolutely STEALING it! Let me ask you a question: what's this dealer like? Upstanding, small-to-medium operation, known for taking care of its customers? Or typical car dealer: pressuring you to buy RIGHT NOW, always some big sale going on with people acting like idiots, balloons, screaming and hollering, etc...? If they fall into that second category, then I suspect you'll have a hard time getting them to honor that price when you go back tomorrow. If they DO honor it, then write the check: your shopping is done!

Thanks for the quick reply. It is a small town dealership. Pretty low pressure so far. They said this was the one they are advertising in the local paper for that price. I live about 45 mins from there so I do not have their local paper. I had just started shopping, was sure if I got a truck and not an SUV, it would be the F150. I was just passing by this dealership so I dropped in. The Ironic thing is My Favorite color combination for a vehicle is White with tan leather. ( I didn't tell them this). All indicators are this won't be an issue to get it at this price. We'll see. By the way, they actually wrote the price down for me with VIN# before I left.

Thanks again

Talking Update

Well I gave the truck back this morning. On my way to that dealership, I stopped at my local dealer to see if they could beat the deal. What do you know.... Beat it by $300 for I dentical truck, but then I saw a different beauty.... Lariat Screw in Wedgewood blue with two ton beige, running boards(need em for the little ones), captains chairs , AM/FM Cass/CD. Sticker was 34,255 I got it for 28,381. Long story short, returned the first one, drove QUICKLY back to second dealer, Truck is in the driveway tonite! YAAAAA ! This seems to be as good of deal as the first.....

Thanks again

34.7 is what I paid for a loaded screw lariat. Then I thought I had a reasonable deal. I have the same truck as you. Med-wedgewood blue/AZ beige.

I have to ask, Is your truck 4x4?
