Why did ford stop putting cattys on the new diesel trucks? its been nagging me, i love the idea, but how did they get around the emissions laws so they could doit?
I don't know why the manuals have them and the autos don't. The cat gets rid of NOX emissions. The 99.5 and later engines use a larger turbo that apparently blows enough air to not need the cat (on some vehicles).
