Smile PA, 04 F150 owners, lets get together.

If you are from Pa and own a new 04 F150, lets get together and discuss our trucks good or bad!

What I would like to know is how are these trucks performing under PA conditions.
And also if there are any PA owners having the vibration problems? If so maybe we can get together and compare trucks and posibly even approach some dealers as a group. Wouldnt they just crap if 20-30 trucks pulled in at the same time with the same problem. It would be very hard to ignore it then!

I live north of Pittsburgh and have no problems with my truck. It performed beautifully through all the bad weather of this past winter. I couldn't be happier with it.

I am also from just north of Pittsburgh, westmoreland Co. New Kensington. I have an STX 4x4 4.6 3.55 limited slip, tow pkg. I am starting to notice some vibration, but nothing to major yet (600 miles). Other wise I am very happy with the truck and the dealer. Where is Bucks County? I am interested in starting a PA chapter in the future but I have not been a member long enough, does this appeal to any of you? Hey keep it safe out there and enjoy your trucks today!!

York County: FX4 5.4 3.55 LS-Have about 5000 miles on truck with no major complaints. Slight shimmy at 70-75mph and a rear end shudder when starting out first thing or after sitting for extended period. Plan to dicuss it with dealership next oil change. Overall I really like the truck it handles very well, precise steering and smooth ride. Get about 18-20mpg on long trips and 14-15 mpg mixed driving. 4x4 worked very well in the snow in combo with LS.

Hey some time we should get together for a beer or a coffee, on the weekends I am usually up by Lernerville at our camp. What dealer did you buy from? I got mine just off 28 at exit 16, Familiar?

Aircommando,

Glad to here no major problems, hope you have continued satisfaction with it. I also have some minor shimmys/vibrations but other wise love the truck. STX 4x4. Any interest in a Pa chapter. If so let me know, I will be working on starting one just as soon as I can meet all the requirements. Any others from PA interested let me know, so we can start getting the ball rolling.
