I cant find a muffler that I like so Im gona stright pipe it. My question is how can i make it quite? Can I had a resister(sp) to it?

You could use header plugs, they can be bought out of summit racing equipment, but i dont know if they will be legal.

Ford 4 cylinders don't like open exhaust. I've run a glasspack and a turbo muffler. Both are not too bad, I do prefer the turbo though. The 4's are not really cool sounding motors in the first place, but, it's sure nice when they beat a 302.
