I've been trying to decide whether to buy a new F150. My lease is up in June on my '99. I need a daily driver and a truck (for mulch,firewood,etc.) - but they don't have to be the same vehicle necesarily. I really like the look of the new F150, and was close to ordering one, but now I'm leaning toward getting a 10 year old one as a true "truck" and getting a car for my daily driver - maybe a used BMW 5 series, or a new 300Hemi - need to check them out.

I'll probably change my mind if Ford announces a 6.5 bed on the supercrew - but I'm also looking forward to the '06 Superduty. It would be nice to get the extra size of the 250 with modern interior/ride updates that the 150 has.

 

You'll be back! I had a BMW before I bought the new F150 (ExBMWTurnFx4Screw). Great car, but once you own a truck it’s hard to settle for a car. I came out of the closet. I didn’t even look back. Anyhow, did you test drive the new F150?

 

those new 300s are awesome. i want one but the hemi makes it cost too much then it would have to be that or a new bmw and im a huge bmw fan. i like the new 250s too but its not too much of a change from what they have now, and i dont think i can wait that long. lets hope i make the right decision.

what kind did you have exbmw? right now my daily driver is a 525 but we are picking up an fx4 soon. i cant give my my bmws but i need a truck to do some truck things.

 

Only problem with the 300C is I hear it's going for sticker price - it's against my nature to pay full sticker
