Need help finding parts for my 50' F2

Hi all I'm new to here & I need your hel.

I have this 1950 Ford F2 3/4 ton pickup & I'm in a great need of front fenders, fender extentions & grill parts "rusted beyond repair & accident damage."

I am in the works of salvaging the upper grill & I think that the lower grill can be salvaged...

Also I'm interested in making the front park lights have the ability of turn signal, any one know where a kit or something is at for this?

Thanx Gene

Gene,

Sheet metal parts are hard to find but they're still out there. The one good thing about F-2 & 3s is they share the same front sheet metal as the larger size trucks which there are more sources for them than the F-1s, look around behind buildings and out in fields for a larger truck.

I have a parts interchange page set up on my site:

I'd be willing to work with aftermarket parts if I had to because all I've seen so far is for F1 1/2 ton pickups & a few F1 panels....

I have front fenders and extentions for a 51-52 f2. Both need repair for dents and usual rust spots. If interested, e-mail me off line.

Skelton33, I have not been on the forums long enough to email any one yet but I may be interested.

Could you send me a pic of the fenders & possibly a price?

51-52 fenders won't work on a 48-50 unless you change the whole front clip to the 51-52 style. You have to stay with the early style fenders to use what you've got now.

You'll probably have to resort to junkyards for body parts. Might want to give this place a shot...

If you need a bed or parts for a bed, look on this site. http://bonusbuilt.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=613 This will take you to the actual post. Sounds like he wants to sell it fast.
