I'm in a band called Wastegate (hence the name) and we get to open for Killswitch Engage and In Flames. The show is Friday May 21st at the Masquerade in Atlanta. If anyone here is interested in going then we have tickets to sell and they're cheaper than Ticket-Raper. You can contact us through our website which is in my signature. If you don't like those bands then give us a shot anyway, we're not as heavy as those guys so you may enjoy us.
I'm a fan of heavy music. I might be interested in checking out the show, haven't been to the Masquerade in a long time. I played in a band for years name Witch Doctor....we played several shows there from 1993-1997.
Hey Adam, contact me through our band website, the forum doesn't allow you to post your email addy. The band site is www.Wastegateband.com and obviously I'm Chad. I'm trying to remember the name but drawing a blank. My last band was around at that time and was called Big Slow Wreck. We had a pretty decent following and played the Masq quite often.
The Killswitch Engage/In Flames tix are $18 as opposed to $26 through Ticket-Raper.
Have you ever played at the Masquerade? I was in a band that opened for Molly Hatchet in 2004. It is a cool place. If you play upstairs you can pretty much play as loud as you want. The owner at that time was Steve and I think he still runs it. He's a cool guy just don't get caught writing on the walls or endulging in anything illegal (the first one is a personnal experience, the other was another band that played there with us a couple of times).
If it don't fit, get a bigger hammer. If it breaks, chalk it up as a learning experience.
There was a time when I thought she was wrong. Turns out she was not wrong, she was mistaken.
