Talking Soon to be new Lightning Owner

I'm soon to be in the market for a new Lightning (99-2001) I was curious to know how all you guys like your Ford? I havent heard any bad things about them.....I'll be graduating soon, and well I've always wanted a Lightning since before i was able to drive.....I just wanted to know how everyone is liking their Lightning? Any troubles? Anything you really like about them? Ive done research and test drove them but theres nothing better than an opinion of another Ford owner....Ive got a '90 F-150 right now....5.0, Im looking to roast some tires on a new Lightning though....any replies would be appreciated.....thx
