Who wants to be on TV w/their truck???

Okay - I had an AWESOME idea for the Chapter! I haven't checked it out yet because I need YOUR input first! I also need to run this by the webmaster! I watch Ch 4 (WIVB) every morning & they have the "Why Guy" who does features on local WNY businesses/people. I was thinking of trying to get him to do a segment on Jim Dean's Off Road Shop. Then I thought about having US in the spot & where better than Mac's! They are a sponsor & the Why Guy has been there before so I know Mac's would probably say ok if I ask. All we'd have to do is explain the website & the Chapter, mention upcoming events & ideas & recruit new members! The segment usually ends by 7:30AM so we should all be able to make it to work on time! The more of us that would show, the better it would look. We can also show we have ALL Ford trucks in the Chapter - show, off road, SUV, new & old & let prospective members know we are a fun & diverse group! So - who wants to do this? It will take planning so we'd need to start thinking of the details now before I contact Ch 4. Whadda y'all think????????

Well, JD - do you have something similar on your local TV news shows? This is a segment on our local "wake Up" morning news program. They spotlight different places everyday. You can check their website @ wivb.com. Click on The Why Guy & you'll see some of the spots he's done recently. I don't see why you can't arrange the same thing down your way if they have it!
OR - you guys can come on up here & we can do a HUGE group turnout!!!!!!! Now THAT would be awesome!!!!!

i'm out of my house toooooo early in the morning to even find out if there is something like that on TV. also i have a sat dish so i don't get all the locals. Just the ones out of then city( ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX).. I would love to come up there but i have to find hte time off from work and the money to feed the beast.

Cowlady, how is it possible that you can mention 2 out of the 4 people I dislike in this world?? I despise JD and as far as the why guy goes, I am currently dating his ex girlfriend, so any time I see him it is always a tad bit cold....
