Dealer badge

How do you remove the dealer badge? I don't want to advertise for these people. The badge looks like a vinyl decal sort of thing. What will take this off without taking the paint off?

parks911 is gaining momentum as a positive member of FTE.
use a heat gun or blow dryer. Apply the heat & slowly peel the vinyl off. Don't keep the heat in one position though, keep it moving around the area.

If your lucky & live in a hot climate you can also position the vehicle to where the sun shines directly on the sticker. Let it soak up the heat & slowly peel off.

You will have to pick at the edges with your finger nails to get it going but it should work quickly.

they make some chemical sprays that are supposed to loosen them up and make it easy to remove. But I think the best way is like "parks911" said and use a heat gun.It is a slow process but it will work.

heat gun is the best way. thats what you're supposed to do. i used one on my truck to get the badge off. it was a thick metal one. people also use these guns to remove unwanted body molding. you may have to follow up with some bug and tar remover to get a few sticky spots off. then wax that spot because it has never been done there.

I agree, i helped my dad take the stickers off his GMC. Yall are lucky though, my truck has one of those steel gray back bumpers with the dealer name stamped in it.
