I would use exhaust pipe, not PVC. I would imagine that it can't stand up to the heat.
Based on another guy's suggestion, I'm using black ABS sewer pipe. A 45 degree ell fits perfectly. I don't know about the heat issue. I'll keep an eye on it.
ACE Hardware, It's a 3" pipe, but the outside diameter of each end is 4". It cost about $2.60 or thereabouts. The clamp I got from NAPA for about $2.50. I also got the filter from NAPA. It was a little over $39.00. The way I see it, I get to tryout the idea of a Tymar without much initial investment.
i checked the napa belts and hose book at work and the number for the 6" silicone intake hose is 1743 have napa punch it into their computer and whatever numbers come up it should be listed. the numebr for the 8" is 1744

They didn't have any in stock so it took a few days to get them in. I guess the 1994 must use a different size because that one didn't fit. The dia. on my turbo is 3" and the mid section is 3 3/8. dia. anyway thanks for the consideration and good luck on the upgrade.
