Fenderless
I have a 52 F1 that is almost completed in a resto/rod style with a flatty however the front fenders are rough and have been poorly repaired in the past several times. Does any one have a lead on a decent pair it would save a lot of pain and suffering, I have been searching for a year, I really want good steel ones. I am about to start the repair process on what I have but it is going to take a lot to make them decent.

You are looking for the hardest item in the world for these trucks, fenders! I'm doing a 50 F-1 and I found a right NOS 3 years ago and have been searching for a left since then. I finally got a good used one coming from Calif. after all this time. I don't want to discourage you, but patience is the name of the game. They are out there. Look on Ebay, they come up every now and then. Just be prepared to shell out a few $$ for them. It's easier to find them for a F-2 thru F-6 as they seemed to survived better. Also, they fit from F-2 to F-6, so you can find big truck fenders and put them on the F-2 or F-3. There was a nice left on Ebay 2 weeks ago. I did not follow it, so I can't tell you what it sold for.
