How do you remove plastic dealer badges?

Question for you guys... what's the easiest method to remove those damn pesky 3D plastic dealer badges that all the dealers apply nowadays... I dont want to scratch the paint or dent the truck.... I am trying to make the cleaner look.. with no badges... I dont want to advertise the dealer where I purchased my truck!

Thanks for any advice

Andrew

You could use a piece of fishing line. Run it back and forth behind the badge like a saw and then clean up the glue with some alcohol and a clean cloth. You may be able to just pull if off, if you can get a grip on it. Then add some wax when you get all the glue off.

I used a hair dryer. Aimed the air behind it and it popped right off.

Dental floss can be used in place of fishing line.

I use a heat gun or hair dryer. If it has been on a long time you may be able to tell the difference in the paint that was not exposed.

When ever I by a new vehicle I tell them I will NOT take it if it has one of those stickers, a licence plate holder doesn't bother me but putting a stupid sticker on the paint of a new car/truck is the most ignorant thing they can do

I know this doesn't help you now but just a thought for the future

About taking delivery with those silly stickers, badges, or plate frames. In some of the million papers signed when buying a vehicle you might have given them permission to do that. I was lucky and I got mine with just a plate frame. Was in the trash the minute I got home.
