1999 Underhood Fuse #24 Is Blowing

My son's 1999 F-250 PSD Auto Air 90,000 miles is blowing the underhood #24 fuse which powers through the PCM relay the glow plug relay, the manifold air heater relay, etc. It has blown twice which will not allow the truck to start, or in the most recent incident shut the engine down while driving. By disconnecting and reconnecting suspected components of the circuit as identified on the service CD the truck will start. This has happened twice, the last time yesterday on the interstate and the first time back in April. Kind of unnerving not being able to determine the exact cause and never knowing when it may happen again. Any information or ideas anyone has , or who may have this experinece it will be greatly appreciated.
