I'm new to this site and I'm glad to see a local chapter board! I bought me 2001 about a year and a half ago with only 16,000 miles on it. Unfortunately, it has needed many repairs (the expensive ones went to the dealership-don't get me started on that nightmare) the rest I sent to a local repair shop. (I'm not very condfident in my troubleshooting abilities). But thanks to forums like this, I'm slowly learning more and more and even starting to do some work on my own! I live in Manchester and work in Dearborn at the Blue Oval (over a 100 mi round trip commute), so I'm sure I'll be here a lot asking about maintenance.....
