302 GT40 head & cam Vs. Stock 351W.

Ok I need more power for towing(92 f150 302 Speed D E4OD). The current 302 is out of a 95 with about 90k on it. I can put gt40 heads and an upgraded cam (like comp cam 260) on my current 302. Or for about the same money (but more work) pickup a used stock 351w.

What would have more pulling power? The Stock 351w or the bumped up 302?

Thanks

Doug

I would go with the 351W just because of the cubic inches and it will last longer under heavier work loads than the 302 will.
