stolen truck

Everyone in the Portland - Vancouver area! My truck was stolen from the parking lot at Clark College this morning. It is a 63 f100 SWB stepside. Black with a red roof and blue steel rims (yeah, I know) The black is faded and falling off in a lot of places, the original artic blue shows through. the bed is rotted out almost completely. If you see it please call the police! the license # is WA A27359I. Thanks in advance and I'll buy a cold beverage for the one who helps me get my truck back.

If I get it back, I'm gonna chain the steering wheel to the brake pedal like the military used to do.

The best theft preventitive I ever heard of was filing a 2nd notch in the distribuitor housing & turning the Distribuitor cap 180 degrees when you park it. Then take high tension coil lead with you when you go. They will have to carry it away, or figure out what's wrong with it. Both not very likely. Problem is you must correct it & reinstall the coil wire B4 you can leave.

Another great anti-theft is a Mico Brake system lock. Step on brake hard, push the button and the system has the brakes locked up. To unlock it, turn on the key, step on the brake & push the button again & they unlock. Just hide the button so it's not easily found.

Put a fuel shut off valve in the gas line behind the seat they'll get a mile or so and it will die. There not going to look for it they'll bail fast.

I have to agree with the fuel cut off switch idea It's easy to install and easy to hide

I like the chaining to the pedal as well

Im in the Olympia area, will keep an eye peeled....as to anti theft...pull the rotor & the coil wire.....might have a dead battery if some idiot is dumb enough to keep cranking, but a dead battery is better than no wheels.

Keep us posted. Theifs in this city are horrible. Luckily I have only had one car stolen and it was returned with the loss of a tank of gas.

I sure will. the last time this thing got stolen, it sat in the Loydd Center parking lot for three days. Of course the ever so helpful Portland police didn't call me until after it had been impounded and I had to pay $145 to get it back. Thanks alot to everyone!

Still no word on the truck? Have you posted any pics of it so we know what it looks like? Ya never know, it might be sitting in someone's driveway in Portland!
