I took off the heads yesterday and had no luck getting it unstuck. The pistons ae clean and I can see a small line around each piston. I tried pulling the truck again. 4th and 3rd gear is just rolls and 1st and 2nd the rear wheels lock up. I broke the chain. I think I have to remove the crank and pound each piston individually. I'm gonna remove the tranny as well it so if it's okay. He tossed in a spare 4spd that he had. It's just been sitting in the back of the truck. It's completly dry and missing the shifter handle and E-brake handle. I think I might soak it and bolt on the missing pieces. See you guys later.

Now that you have the heads off, use PB Blaster to soak the piston rings and try to dissolve the rust and corrosion. If you really don't care about saving the pistons, use lye or oven cleaner.

There is only one stuck piston. The 6th one is stuck good. The engine had been rebuilt by the looks of it and very little wear. You could almost eat off it! It's so clean. I have the engine on my stand with the crank removed. I have the cylinder full of WD-40. I really want to get it unstuck. I worked while it was rainning to get the engine out.

It was actually the 2nd one that was stuck. After school I got it unstuck. I now have all eight pistons turning. I have a few sticky valves that I was working on until I striped the crankshaft bolt. I'm gonna buy 2 in town tomorrow. Later Guys

Oh I forgot to mention I found a dead mouse in the oil pan when I took it off yesterday. It must have crawled up the road draft tube and drowned in the oil. I've been wondering why the truck has always sat on angle. I was looking at the frame and noticed the passenger side spring has two broken leaves. Since I have a spare I'll change it while the engine is out of the truck. As I said a few minutes before. See you later guys.
