Attention power moonroof owners

Could you guys check something on your moonroof please?

I just noticed this yesterday. I went to close my moonroof and accidentally hit the open button. When I hit the open button the moonroof opened about an extra 2 inches. I tried it several more times and it does it every time.

Is this normal?

If you press the open button twice to get the extra 2 inches then you also have to press the close button twice to get it closed. When you press and hold the close button the first time it stops where it automatically stops after pressing the one-touch open button.

Yep, as described in the owner's manual.

Too bad the cover won't slide all the way back (open) when the roof is closed.

Try driving around with your windows up and your moon roof all the way open. The roof flutters so bad you think a helicopter id flying low over you.

I figuered they did this to help with wind noise/buffeting. But I drive at highway speed with all the windows up, down, and everywhere in between and mine seems to be more quiet all the way open.

Press the open button once and let it open by itself until it stops. Then press it again and it will open a few more inches.

I don't have this problem in my SCAB. Maybe every time you open your moon roof a helicopter swoops down really quick to try to take your picture.

Mine only opens one time. When I press the button it opens all the way and when I press it again it doesn't do anything. Maybe it is only on certain years.

Thats likely because you have a shorter cab.The roof on your truck is stiffer. It's not just a noise, it is the whole top wobbling up and down.

Oh yeah, you're a real funny guy...
