04 Expy XLT - speakers in 3rd row?
How difficult is it to install speakers in the 3rd row of seats? I still can't believe they only install 4 speakers as the standard. I mean come on, the cabin is huge! My '99 Intrepid has 9 speakers!!!
I don't plan on installing myself, just wondering how much work a shop would have to do to get some speakers in that 3rd row... so my kids can hear back there!

It shouldn't be hard. Wires just need to be tapped into the door speakers and run back.
I just tapped into the wires behind the head unit the other day for some wires with RCA connectors for a speaker box for on top of my truck...great for the beach, and something to do with the extra 4 Ford speakers after I upgraded to Polks.

I agree with only have 4 speakers, the major cost would be cutting holes in the panel in the rear for the speakers. Unfortunately unlike the pre 03's there is no storage bin in the back. Companies like JL audio made a speaker box that could be swapped out in it's place. check the link, they have one for 03/04's but it takes up space in the center console 80% worth!!!
