New Carb?

I have a 73 F100 302 4x2...cannot adjust the carb to save my life.
I was thinking of buying an Edelbrock (2 Bbl) to replace...my existing 2Bbl carb has a climatic choke...do I order an electric choke or manual choke replacement?
Any tips would be more than welcome and anybody who would recommend Holley instead, your input would be greatly appreciated.

I didn't know that Edelbrock made a 2bbl carb. I use a 500 cfm Holley 2bbl on my 302. Runs great. I spliced into the Stator wire coming off of the rear of the alternator to power my electric choke. This is how the factory does it.
