Notice- Closure of Nominations

Folks, it's time...

Given the turnout of things, I feel
we need to make absolutely certain
that the intention of the Chapter is
represented. In the interest of this
I will suspend the Call for Closure
until 04/26/04 Monday at 12:01 pm
CST. At that time the motion for
Closure will be posted with request
for second. After the seconding, I
ask that all participants in this forum
indicate their desire by voting "Yea"
or "Nay" in poll form

With a successful majority determination
in either direction events will proceed thus
after posting poll outcome:

"Yea"- Closure occurs and candidates are
named in an Election Poll. Voting is opened
to all participants of the Oklahoma Chapter
forum only.

"Nay"- Closure does not occur- business will
remain unfinished and further discussion of the
matter will be open. Voting is suspended until
closure is effected and candidates are named
for the Election Poll.

From what I'm able to ascertain, there is a
willingness to help, but no one entirely willing
to take this task on. I appreciate the spirit of
cooperation on the part of Traxxis and the
support and honesty of all in this forum. But
there must be a clear sense of direction.

So far I have been the (to use George Clooney's
character's words in "O Brother, Where Art Thou")
"d****d Pederphenelious"- the only candidate,
until Traxxis offered to step in too.

But... I ain't "bona fide". I got "prospects", but
that don't mean doodley squat.

So, it's still up for discussion or cussin'. I'll ask
Trax his intentions and welcome them either way.
In the meantime, there are four folks here that I'll
call on, and yes Jim and Cig that includes you both.
The success of this venture doesn't rest in the hands
of one man... it rests with us all. I'll ask CigarXTC to
post a consensus thread for this purpose, so we'll
have a pretty clear picture of this whole conflagration
by Sunday night.

Thanks guys
