Exclamation Paypal

Hey guys... I was wondering if any of you have ever recieved money via paypal. I have, but it's not shown up in my bank account yet (although he just paid yesterday), it shows where he has paid on the paypal website, but do I need to click on something to send it to my bank account (claim it or something)?

Do you mean it hasn't shown up in your PayPal account yet or your bank/checking account? PayPal should receive the money instantly unless the buyer pays you with an e-check in which case it can take a week. Then you have to choose "withdraw funds" on PayPal, usually 3 days from there to show up in your bank account.

Hope this helps.

Both paypal and the bank have to make their money somehow....

it's called float :-)

it always takes a bit to make it to your account... and it floats in theirs for a bit :-)

You will have to withdraw the funds from your paypal account to your bank account. There should be a link to do that.

It takes about 2-3 days to transfer after you elect to withdraw the funds.

That's right. When someone pays you via paypal, it goes into your "account" at paypal. You then need to access the dough somehow, usually through the "withdrawal" section that parks911 mentions above. This does take 3-4 business days though. You might wanna get a paypal atm visa card. You can then get your money instantly from any atm (or use it like a visa card). Whatever money is in your paypal account is your limit.
