Just curious about what my vehicles worth with modifications

I'm not sure if this is the right forum to be asking this but here it goes (All prices will be in Canadian dollars and mileage in kilometers):

The truck is an 88 Bronco XLT with 5.0L 302 V8 and Automatic/Overdrive transmission. The engine only has 155,000 KILOMETERS and has been babied it's whole life. The rear 8.8 is running the stock 3:55 gears, as well as the front dana 44. The brownish/tan interior is near mint, the driver side seat is worn from sliding in and out. The body is painted two tone brown (haven't seen many like this so guessing it's pretty rare). All the rust was removed and new metal welded in less than 4 years ago. Has been parked in a garage for two Canadian winters since redone. The shockes were painted copper and the axles were grinded down and reapinted with rust primer and black rust paint.

I currently have about $11,000 Canadian invested in this vehicle.

The Modifications include:

To the Engine:
-K&N Aircharger Intake ($240)
-Helix Power Tower Throttle Body Spacer ($180)
-Holley Flowtech long tube Headers ($230)
-Custom 2.25 inch True dual exhaust with Flo-Pro mufflers and 3" chrome tips exiting angled on both sides before the rear bumper. ($750)

To the Suspension:
-6 inch Pro Comp Stage II Suspension lift (new coils, rear leaf springs(no blocks), extended brake lines, extended radius arms and 4 Pro Comp ES3000 shocks (orginally factory quad shocks but only went with two shocks upfront for softer ride). ($2500)
-Lengthened and strengthened rear driveshaft ($200)

Wheels, Tires and Steering:
-15" x 10" Weld Scorpio rims ($1500)
-35" x 12.5" r15 Pro Comp Xterrain tires ($1200)
-Skyjacker steering stabilizer (not here yet) (~$200)
-Skyjacker sway bar drop bracket (not here yet either) (~$100)
-New camber kit to make up for lift and Allignment ($300) (even without steering stabilizer still straight and amazingly easy to drive)

Appearance:
-Trendz billet grill ($250)
-clear corners with chrome ($65)
-Soft Top ($550)
-Lund Roll Pan ($245) (not yet installed, waiting for paint)

Stereo:
-Alpine CDA-7995 head unit ($700)
-Pioneer 160 watt 6.5's ($80)
-Pioneer 260 watt 6 x 9's ($120)
-MTX 4244 4 channel amp powering speakers ($265)
-Rockford Fosgate HE2 10 inch 800 watt DVC sub ($300)
-Rockford Fosgate 200M monoblock amplifier powering the sub. ($300)
-Custom Sub Box/Amp rack built into passenger side of cargo area ($475) (with matching carpet)
-Alarm/Command start ($540)

I am curious about what I can expect from this vehicle because I might think about selling it for a 98-02 ls1 trans am or continue working on it.

In the near future I still plan on putting on a zenon front bumper cover, fender flares (possibly squarer like on new chevy trucks), new mirrors and entirely changing the color to "copperhead metallic" (as on trucks tv). Also, after all the bodywork is done, filling in all ledges that can hold water and getting it rust proofed. I would like to get around to taking the body off the frame and gettin it and the valve covers powdercoated. And, the possibilty of 4:56 gears and a chip.

Could someone please give me a general idea of what it is worth with the current setup (I know it's hard without pictures). And what it would be worth in perfectally mint show condition as I soon hope to get it to.

In general, a vehicle is worth no more than the Kelley Blue Book or NADA value as it is stock, even with all the mods like you listed, in the eyes of a banker/lender. The good news is that the Broncos have a high retail price, so your Bronco is worth about $6500 US in mint condition. If it was mine, and my 84 Bronco is very similar to yours, I would not take less than $10K US. Keep in mind that you hardly ever recoup your investment when you sell a rig with alot of mods or restification. I love the Copperhead truck, too!!

the Lender/Investor statement is true....however....

selling it to the right person makes all the difference in the world...
The seller won't need to go out and do these things.

Providing receipts is always a plus.

Never expect to get 100% of your investment in a car. Unless it is a coveted thoroughbred classic or hotrod.

$6500US is a good number (depending on what it actually looks like)
seeing it with the eye allows the upgrades to have more of an impact.

Another thing that last post brings to mind is that most banks/lenders are reluctant to finance a vehicle over 5 years old, even more so if the mileage is over 100,000 miles. I only mention this fact in case the buyer needs to get financing, which is often the case if the price is over $2-3 thousand. You definitely want to find a buyer who will buy the Bronco based on the mods that have been done, and is looking for something better than stock. All of these factors "weed out" alot of potential buyers though.

You rarely get back what you put into lifts, wheels, and stereos etc, unless, as someone said, you sell it to the right person, someone who wants to spend ten grand on an 88 Bronco. Those people are out there but few and far between.

WOW! that looks awsome after the lift and paint! I also have an 88 302 but right now my money is going into some 4:10 gears. How is the throttle response after the lift with that stock gearing? Again, super nice! Wana trade?

I can't really complain because I dont remember a time when it had good throttle response. Used to drive it and then parked it until the intake, headers, throttle body spacer, exhaust, lift, rims and tires were on. I guess all that made it just like stock again.
