I just saw that tremec came out with there upgraded TKO 500 and 600 transmissions. I know these transmissions arn't ideal for trucks that would be used for towing, but I think it would be a great transmission for a street truck. Rated at 500 and 600 ft.lbs of torque. Thats the way im going with my 82 F100 when it comes home in july. A 460 with a Tremec TKO 500 and a strange engineering 9 inch out back.
