Smog Pump Eliminator Kit for 4.9 EFI

Smog Pump Eliminator Kit for 4.9 EFI
I am looking for a smog pump eliminator kit for a 1990 4.9 EFI. I've found plenty of eliminator kits for the 5.0, but I can't seem to find one for the 4.9.
Often Ford will use the same parts on multiple models and engines to cut costs. A smog pump seems like a logically interchangeable part. I'm wondering if the 5.0 eliminator might work on the 4.9 or where I can find one for the 4.9.

Removing the smog pump and setup doesn't really get you anything for power. Racers do it becuase they are looking for every tiny bit of power they can get, but you're much better off performing another kind of modification. Plus, you shouldn't be doing it for emissions reasons. This belongs in the inline six forum and will be moved shortly.

[QUOTE=Josh913;1550775]You cant do that with the 4.9, if you take the pump off and get a shorter belt the belt rubs on the bottom alternator bolt and sleeve, I tried it before on my truck, I cant see a way of getting around this except to bolt up an idler pulley where the smog pump was.[/QUOTE
So I got a shorter belt and changed the routing between the alternator and the water pump. Haven’t tested it yet (put it on like 5 minutes ago) but everything seems to be clearing all the bolts and rotating in the correct direction....unless I’m missing something?
Pic is how I routed my belt. Will update once I test it.

On my 92, I tossed the 70A 2G alt for a 130A 3G off a '95. Dropped in, moved lower bolt to compensate for the larger case, different size upper. You can short belt it just like a 302 or 351W truck of this era with serpentine now and not drag on the bolt. I picked up a 93.5" belt, which is the same off a similar year 351W truck, which kept the tensioner in the happy spot!
Works fine on my end with that setup:
130A 3G
No AIR pump
A/C
P/S
WP
Best part, Gates makes a Fleetrunner belt in that size.
