Question Oil Scavenging

Hello All -

I am new to the forums so please bear with me if I seem a little lost.

2002 Ford F-150 Harley Davidson
Does anyone have a solution to the oil scavenging that occurs when the engine is under boost? I currently have a 4# pulley, diablo chip, cold-air system, boost bypass, 180 deg thermostat and billet engine breather. I have purchased a PCV kit from Lightning Enterprise but no such luck. Still getiing oil from somewhere. HELP!!!

Michael

Welcome Michael!

Your problem is very common, it happens when the engine is under boost conditions and then the throttle is quickly snapped shut, Oil will be sucked in thru the pcv system directly into the intake. Several outfits produce a "oil seperator" device that attaches inline with the pcv line, its supposed to catch any oil and not let it get into the intake. Ive head stories of people taking the blower off and cleaning the intercooler due to the caked on oil degrades performance.
