Need opinions, looking for a knowlegeable diesel shop around the Thornton area.
Bought a 2000 psd a while back, and although I am happy with it, I have some concerns on engine noises (are they normal) and performance (is it right for stock) and such. Looking for someone to listen/drive and give me advice. Not looking for freebies.
Also look for a shop on south Sante Fe run by Jim Wright. They are diesel only. He is a graduate from Mercedes, and is very good. Also has a dyno there. Can't think of the name of his shop.
Just about Oxford, or maybe a block or two South of that on the West side. You have to get to it from a service road. I'm trying to remember the name. He used to do the work on my Mercedes Diesel.. I believe it is Hilton Diesel or Hilton Service or ?
I don't have any experience with Diesel stuff, but the guy across the street from me owns a PSD, and he runs a shop called Keep Kool. It's on 72nd and Washington if I remember correctly.
