One of those MOODS!!

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 15-May-02 AT 07:46 AM (EST)]Maybe I woke up on the wrong side of the bed, maybe I'm just being negative, but I'm wondering, if some of you guys find the same things as annoying as I do.

First, is the way people post answers to a tech question.
One person will answer the question, another will agree or disagree, now that part is fine, but the part that annoys me, is when people almost reiterate word for word someone elses answer.
No new info at all, why not just say I agree with so and so, rather than to cut and paste the same exact answer, almost word for word?
Do these people just like to see there name in the last updated author colum?
I was reading a post today, there were two answers mine was the first answer, the next reply was almost word for word my exact answer, but with someone elses name at the bottom. Whats the point??
When I can't add any additionasl info ,I will either not post or will say that I agree or disagree and why.

Second is when people answer a tech question who have never actually done the job.
Now ,I know these people can read, and so can I, and thats great, but there is a difference between printed directions and actually preforming the job.
I don't know why it bothers me, but when I see someone answer a question on how to do something and I know for a fact that the person paid to have the job done and never lifted a wrench himself, it annoys me.
If I come across a post that asks a question about a repair or mod that I have never done, I will not answer based on what I was told by some guy that may or may not have done it. If there are no replies for a couple days, I usually tell them that I remember so and so posting about prefoming that job, perhaps look for that post or message that person.

I guess some people just need the feeling that they have important input or need to fit in??

Like I said, I'm feeling pissy today and nobody gets here for another hour, for me to harass...

Don't worry Monsta, I wont' harass you, I think it's FortyFords week to do that!!!

Could be unintentional!
Recently, I read a post from someone who was trying to post a picture in his signature. I replied with instructions and the picture he was trying to post. After submitting, I scrolled back up and was surprised to see the picture and and instructions from monsta.
So someone may submit an answer while you are preparing one and you won't be aware of it until after you post.
