1998 F-150 Exhaust Stud

I'm replacing the passenger side catalytic converters and had to cut one of the studs that connect the exhaust pipe to the exhaust manifold (at the slip flange). Anyone know how this stud is removed/replaced????

Thumbs up

Thanks for checking! Once the wheel well was removed it became crystal clear. Still had a lot of trouble removing the old stud (tried welding a nut to it, then welding a turning bar to it, and finally just cut it off, drilled and re-tapped it), but got it done. Hope I never go there again.

Good to hear that you got it done. Broken bolts and studs are usually a real pain
