6.9 ltr. Diesel Torque
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 09-Nov-02 AT 11:19 AM (EST)]First of all, I would like to thank all of the folks who have responded to my previous posts!
Now my question:
Does anybody know how much Torque/rpm the 6.9 ltr. Diesel is rated.
Is cavitaion also a problem for that engine and how can I test wether an additv is added in the coolant? I've heared from a kind of teststripes to check it
What is the best addidiv available?
thank you for your help.
Jens

You can pick up the test strips at any good diesel shop.
This will tell you if it currently has additive in the system. I was using Ford FW-16, but have since switched to a Fleetguard Pre-Charged coolant filter with 8 SCA units. This way I don't have to worry about if the level is up to snuff or not, it's always there, plus I know that the coolant is clean. You can read about my install on my website.

Specs.
The Spec. book for non-turbo shows 168 hp @ 3300 / 317 ft# @ 1400 or the high alt engine 150 hp @ 3300 / 287 ft# @ 1400.
