Cv shaft...
Ok guys, anyone who's got a 80's bronco....i'm thinkin about takin a rear bronco shaft, and changing the length to fit the front of my F150....i mostly want the cv joint, but heres my question, on the end of the cv, is it a ubolt attachment or a flange plate? And if anyone might also be so kind, can someone measure their rear driveshaft.
Thanks
Ryan
Thanks

on my EB it is a u-bolt attachment.....and I can measure my shaft tom if you need me too
on an 80's bronco it (the shaft) will be the same length as a standard cab, short bed (should be) and it should also be u-joint attachment

its neither flange or u bolt....it just uses 4 bolts to attacth it, but it uses a yoke different from regular u bolt yokes. same thing on most all off fords cv's. the front of my 79 f-250 uses the same setup, rear of my buds 79 f-150, front of my 97-f-350 etc etc.
ive never seen a cv joint with a u bolt attachment....just flange style and bolt on yoke style
hope i made some sense
