What I am actually going to do is print this thread for them. I isn't a Ford document, it is probably better, it experience is the best knowledge. Everyone here is having pretty much the same issue, but different dealers are suggesting or doing different techniques. If nothing else they, if they truly care about the customer and their company they will send it to there service engineer to look at. It sure can't hurt anything. Not that I want them to try every suggestion on my truck as a lab rat, but maybe it will open someones eye. I am not going to hold my breath, but what else can I do. I will ask them to check my oil pressure, it sure would be a good start.

Not that I am saying you are wrong, but without going and getting my owners manual, I though that it stated 15 quarts, maybe it was 14. The dealer, didn't actually give 14 or 14.5 as a fill amount they actually said, a .5 to 1 quart under max. I just did that math, and it may well be wrong.

Thanks for your input. I honestly would rather live with this leak, not that I like it, but I am not going to have them pull an engine or the transmission again. If people are having it done 2 and 3 times, it seems a waste of time, if the first time doesn't cure the problem.

Check the PSD Manual, Oil System(on this forum) There is a descrepency. Then fill the oil with 13 quarts, start it, kill it, check the dipstick. You will find it is less than a quart low,

I bought the truck from Maxwell Ford and they have had it twice for repairs. This time, because of convenience, I took it to Covert Ford.

Are you one of us that runs up and down I-35 @ 80 MPH? Another white one like mine must have raised some attention cause the DPS was looking hard at me Tuesday.

Mine is white with a Raven bed cap. Looks like a big white Bronco. But there are a lot of white F250's out there.
