ok let me see if i can sum this group purchase up for everybody. I am helping ken with this group purchase, the exhaust will be a full 4" exhaust from the turbo to the tip, the tip being a 4" id and 5" od s.s 12" angle cut rolled end. WE also will have the full exhaust with 3 1/2" downpipe, all exhaust are designed to fit the longest wheel base and crew cabs anything shorter than that all you have to do is cut down on the mid pipe to fit.

If you feel you don't want the tip then you can just order the exhaust we can do that you would just have to let us know when you order.

The exhaust sale will cover:

7.3 ford powerstroke 94-03 ( includes excursions 99-03

6.0 ford powerstroke 03-04

F-450 ford powerstroke 99-03

We also will have a new full dual exhaust available for this group purchase this unit will exit out behind the tires if i am correct i will call and find out to be sure these units will run at a different price then what has been shown in kens opening post.

I hope this helps everybody and hope to get the response that we are looking for to get this sale going so everybody can benefit.

This sounds like it could be the Gibson exhaust systems I was looking at. They also offered a dual option that exited out behind the tire. It was 4" to the muffler and dual 3" out. Looked like a good system. If it is the same as the Gibson, the dual setup was about $50 cheaper than the single out (don't ask me why).

I would definately be interested. I might even make a complete package order (exhaust, guages, guage pod, and the Diablo Predator) to save on shipping. Please keep me informed.

blown 5.4,

You say that the systems will be available with the choice of either a 4" or 3-1/2" downpipe. What are the benefits and draw backs to each one? Is the 4" downpipe better than the 3-1/2" downpipe or does it depend on the application and intended use (ie. towing, drag racing, fuel economy)?

BTW this sounds like a great system.

This is a very controversial and somewhat questionable discussion, questionable from the point that there is no laboratory research with document-able differences between the 3.5 and 4 DP’s. If there is produce them and post them

There are many myths and many opinions, bigger is better, smaller is required. Ultimately it is like boxers or briefs…….your own choice. If you wish to learn more and not tie up this thread, then do a search and read , read, read.
In fact start another thread.....you will get many answers....

So before anyone replies to this.... and makes this thread 150 long…………STOP, and take it somewhere else.
FOLLOW THIS rule and do not post an answer here, on this thread.

A foot note to this, it is an unreal system and you will be happy…….very happy.

Tim Lamkin,

Sorry for causing any problems with my question. That was not my intent. The system sounds great. I had just never heard that i had a choice of before in a system from the same supplier, and was wondering the reasons for it.

You have answered my question however. It sounds like the same debate as oil or pre-post turbo gauge. I will do a more thorough search of past threads and read them.

BTW if you want to delete my previous post that started this potential mess feel free

Thanks for straighting me out Tim FTE is a great place

ok first things first they only have a 3.5 in dp for the 6.0 sorry if i confused anybody. the 3.5- 4 dp is for the 7.3. As far as 3.5-4 in. dp there is a difference especially in regards to backpressure. It take a little less power to spool up the turbo with the 3.5 than the 4 how do i know mm ff did a article with us 2yrs ago and we used both dp on the truck.

As far the dp on the 6.0 the bung for the pyro is not welded in, so you must drill and tap for the pyro. once again sorry for the mislead.
