The supercharger came from Whipple. You can find their site at WWW.whipplesuperchargers.com. The power is increadable. I use my truck for work and pull a 4000 pound trailer. Before I got the supercharger my truck did pull the trailer but on hills it had trouble. Now it pulls it with ease. It also does awesome high speed launches at stop signs. I have not had it to the dyno yet

I want one! Don't think it will fit in the old Aerostar's engine bay though.

Whipple claims that hp is boosted to an amazing 230hp and torque to 260. How many pounds of boost is that? Do you guys think is is possable to get a little more hp by upping the boost safely? Did you have to have anything done with your computer or was it plug in stuff? The reason I am wanting to know is I dont want to spend $2995 and it be a waste you know what I mean. Ohh yeah whipple also claims a 15.5sec 1/4 mile at 86.07mph is that pretty good?

I had to have the computer reflashed. I sent it into Whipple before I started the installation. I have never had it checked for actual hp gains or 1/4 mile times but I know for sure the power Is way better than it used to be and that was what I was looking for.

My gas milage is the same as before about 17 to 18 miles per gallon. It has gone down a little when Im towing the trailer, 13 miles per but I would gladly trade the slight loss in milage for the increadable increase in power.
